Ts Adult Performer Brittany ‘Stonie’ CoxXx Dies at 38

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — It is with hard feelings that I report that TS performer “Brittany CoxXx”, who originally kicked off her career in 1999 in the Gay adult film industry as gay porn superstar “Stonie”, has died at the tender age of 38.

A native of New Orleans, Adrian Cortez aka Brittany “Stonie” CoxXx, had been living in Fort Lauderdale where she owned and operated “Couture Visions Photography”.  Anyone who knew her knows how she loved the camera and any mirror in her view.  The news of her passing has sent shockwaves throughout the Gay adult film industry.  She passed away on Tuesday Dec. 6 but no word yet as to the cause of death.

CoxXx first started his career 1999 as Stonie when he was discovered by owner and producer of L.A. Heat Video Gary McKay in “Stonie and His Homeboys” [2001].  After a few movies with L.A. Heat,  Adrian Cortez aka Stonie was tapped by GayVN Hall of Fame director Paul Barresi to become an exclusive superstar of the early 2000’s gay military genre gay porn label, Regiment Productions/IVD/ECN.

In fact he was so well known under the Regiment label that he actually captured a guest appearance in the mockumentary comedy hit film, BORAT [2006].  Stonie was one of the few Gay porn stars who had a real exclusive contract complete with benefits that you normally would not find in artist contracts when he was with Regiment.

After his contract had run its course at Regiment, Stonie went on with his fame to perform in over 60 Gay adult films of almost every genre.  Stonie captured a nomination at the 2001 GayVN Awards as “Best Newcomer” and starred in the 2001 GayVN Award-winning movie “Caesar’s Hardhat Gang Bang” [OMV/Sunshine], which took home the trophy for Best Ethnic-Themed Video.

Following his Gay porn career, CoxXx transitioned from male to female in late 2005. His final performance as Stonie was 11 years ago but several years later in 2008, returned to the Gay adult film industry as a TS performer.  Returning to someone she trusted and respected, teamed up with Paul Barresi to create and release “Brittany’s Transformation” [2008] on the Pleasure Productions adult porn label. The film was such a huge success that hit captured a nomination at the 2009 AVN Awards for “Best Transsexual Movie”. CoxXx also captured the nomination for Transsexual Performer of the Year 2009. Even starring on the TrannyTube Network.

“I’m really looking forward to working again with Pleasure Productions and Paul Barresi,” Coxxx told AVN at the time. “It’s funny how things happen in life. Everything seems to come full circle.”

CoxXx expanded his horizons in the Ts marketplace by doing several scenes for TS adult porn label Grooby Productions.

Stephen Grooby told JRL CHARTS..”Brittany’s first appearance on a transsexual scene, was on Bobs Tgirls Fantasies, where as Stonie, he played a pizza delivery boy. Transitioning to Brittany shortly after she appeared in a number of scenes for Grooby which were very popular and continued to shoot for us in Florida appearing on Shemale.XXX.   Brittany had many fans even though as far as I’m aware, she hadn’t shot recently and she will be missed.’ said Grooby.

Co-Founder, executive producer and director of Channel 1 Releasing (C1R), Chi Chi LaRue, told JRL CHARTS..”This wasn’t an easy journey for Britney like the true original she was she grabed the bull by the horn’s and did it her way. After leaving the adult film industry all together in 2009, he relocated to Florida where she remained until her death.
