RIDGEWAY, VA – A Henry County adult store owner now faces multiple charges after Henry County’s sheriff’s raid where they allege that customers were engaging in sex acts at the adult video store.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office told JRL that they had received complaints that there were lewd sex acts, along with showing what police describe as obscene movies happening at the popular Gay spot, Passions Video, located at 6535 Greensboro Road in Ridgeway.

Now one has to wonder how an adult video store who is licensed to sale adult merchandise and have video arcades could possibly be arrested for showing adult movies.

The Passions Video is know and licensed as being an adult video store with movie arcade and adult novelties so one has to wonder what investigators are talking about!

According to the sheriff’s department’s vice division, the sheriff’s office says “We discovered that the operator of Passions Video was charging a fee to allow customers to enter the rear area of the business where there were multiple TVs playing obscene pornographic videos.”

Corns was arrested and charged with three counts of keeping a bawdy place for immoral purposes and three counts of knowingly own, lease or manage a building for the purpose of presenting an obscene exhibition or performance.  All charges are misdemeanors. Mr. Corns immediately posted a $2,500 secure bond and was released.

Now the witch hunt begins as the Henry County Sheriff’s office is asking for anyone with information regarding criminal activity that they may have witnessed at Passions Video are asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463).

Fat chance customers are going to go to the police department to report that they themselves have engaged in lewd acts under the law or that they even saw lewd acts. It is sad to see tax payer dollars wasted on Law enforcement for cases such as this.
